PASA LOVE AT THE HOSPITAL 2

Last February 2010, the church had a project called: THE P100.00 KINDNESS PROJECT. The church gave each member who would join P100.00 to do random acts of kindness all over the community. It was really great. The youth decided to pool their P100.00 and decided to do a feeding on Region I Hospital Center. They chose this because of the many people outside the hospital. They have camped outside because they are not allowed to go in. The sight can be pitiful. They are hungry, lonely and bewildered with their situation.
Our youth went there with two large pots of arrozcaldo (Chicken porridge) and brewed coffee. The people were happy with what we did. It went out so fast. The hot meal provided some relief knowing some people still cared. Others talked to us and we were able to share to them God’s love.
Well, we are going back! But this time around we’re going big. Instead of bringing the food there, we decided to cook there. We are going for 8 to 10 pots of hot arrozcaldo and probably unlimited coffee. We start cooking by 3 pm and we may last until 12 midnight. This time around we are going inside the hospital to the patients. Last year we only stayed outside. This time we hope that it would open doors for us on the inside so we can minister to the patients and staff as well.
This will be on July 23, 2010. Serving starts at 3 pm onwards until supply lasts.
Hey, if you want to join we welcome all the help we can get. Here are some ways you can help.
PRAYERS – Every PASA LOVE (SERVOLUTION) event is bathed in prayer. Do pray for us. It will be physically challenging for us. And we need protection from the enemy.
VOLUNTEERS - We need a lot. We will be serving a lot of people and we really want that you can join us. If you decide to join us please inform us because there will be an orientation.
RESOURCES – This can be expensive and we appreciate it if you want to help out with some of the expenses. Just drop us a line and we can give you the information where you can give it.
In Matthew 9:12 Jesus said, “….It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick…” I guess Jesus would be most of the times spending time in the hospital. And we believe the church should be there. It’s simply extending the presence of God to the sick and needy.
And we are also reminded when God said in Matthew 25:37-40, “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you? The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”
We are doing this because we want to serve God. God represents the sick. We want to be there. So join us!
Here’s the video of the P100.00 Kindness Project. The Hospital part is in the middle. The video camera man arrived late and we only had a few footage. The chicken porridge went out fast.
Thank you to all who have already given their support for this project. God knows who you are and we pray a thousand blessings upon your life.

This time it will be more challenging considering that we have to get inside if given the opportunity. We can now see the situation of the people inside. Those who are in bed together with their relatives attending them. This is God’s will for us to do. We may never know what will happen and how will the things be going but one thing’s for sure.. Service is a must.. God bless SERVOLUTION PILIPINAS. GOD BLESS PASA LOVE.
Let’s all maximize what God will open to us. Really love how SERVOLUTION PILIPINAS sounds! Great working with u guys. Never could this happen without u!
“….It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick…”
I think I need a check-up.
Thank you po pas for reminding me always the enduring love of our Lord.
Be blessed sa PASALOVE@Region 1′s Hospital!
i know u will be praying for us. Thanks Pong. I know you’re prayers are with us!
Mas nakaka-challenge nga ngayon, dahil ang pagpapakain natin ay hindi lang sa labas ng hospital kundi pati mismo sa loob ng hospital. Start tayo ng 3pm at magtatapos tayo ng mga 10-11 pm. Whatever,Whenever,Wherever… basta may nangangailangan. Go Pasa Love!
pray natin for open doors and sana may makasamang iba. This is not about us naman! Lead lang tayo. Great working with you bro!
haayz.. excited na ako sa mangyayari,.
alam ko nakakapagod toh.. pero kung sasamahan ng tuwa at galak sa pagseserve, mawawala ang pagod especially pag nakita natin yung mga tao sa Hospital.. to the highest level na to..
the best thing about it, aside from God, is that we’re on thing together. i really appreciate you guys on the team! to do ministry along side with you is an honor!
Easy,
This is really awesome! You guys are doing a great job.
I’m going to use this to try and help the kids here see how P100 (around $2?) can go so far. Maybe they’ll cut down on their Starbucks and expensive gadgets and do something with their money that is of eternal value.

thanks abet for the help. the church is really not that big or rich to do such things but we’ve got a big heart and faith to do things… and it works. God has been able to do great things here..
Praying for the harvesters! Hopefully other churches will be moved, especially ours.
Dearest Steve Singa,
We share the same last name. We could be related. ;-D
some churches will join…. the sad thing, not the baptist group…. we’ll just go on..
